Fantastic time had by the whole family. Idyllic setting. Having the animals in the same field with us was a real plus. Excellent nearby beaches. Great hosts. The only negative was that the 4x man tent doesn’t have enough living space for 4 - It is better suited for a couple. We found it a squeeze, falling over each other. The photos of the 4man tent on the east Shilvinghampton booking page don’t all relate to the actual tent you get, so it’s Difficult to gage this before you book. Also the showers were more basic than other Featherdown sites. I would definitely return (but I’d book a bigger tent for our family of 4.)

We had a brilliant time and the cabin was perfect for us. The kids loved looking after the chickens and collecting eggs. Warren Farm is a friendly, beautiful and very well kept campsite and really well run by Kate and James. We would highly recommend this for a fab holiday especially with kids!

We had a wonderful relaxing holiday on the farm with our two sons. They thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors and exploring the woods and the farm. We collected eggs from the chickens each day and had a very interesting walk with Andrew the Farmer. We were also able to explore the surrounding areas including Battle and Bodium Castle. A beautiful spot! We loved it.

Absolutely stunning location. Tents were clean, well equipped & the beds amazingly comfortable. Fantastic warm showers (with a view!). There was an unseasonal storm while we were there, which we watched from our warm, cosy, candlelit tent after being warned by Edward, the lovely farmer. Kids made friends with other camp mates & enjoyed catching grasshoppers & playing hide & seek in the long grass. Adults and kids all enjoyed the lack of tech. Honesty shop very well priced & lots of things available if needed. Pizzas cooked by Edward were delicious. Thanks for an amazing stay - we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at Manor Farm. Our tent was just as we expected with everything we needed for the week. The outdoor shower was a lovely touch and our view over the surrounding fields stunning. We absolutely loved getting away from it all and relaxing as a family in such a beautiful location. We can't wait to go back!

It was everything it promised to be. For us it was the perfect balance between back to basics living and a few necessary creature comforts! Anna and Will were fantastic hosts, incredibly hospitable and helpful would highly recommend a stay at Manor Farm. Special mention for Luke and his guided tour of the farm our girls absolutely loved it! Their highlight of the stay was definitely herding escaped sheep! Thanks again for a great break!

Our children just loved every moment of our holiday at College Farm - whether it was collecting eggs from a coop and eating it for breakfast moments later, getting to handle baby ducklings, to feeding and playing with lambs, greeting the cows, grooming a horse or bringing home a cat (which is a long and happy story in and of itself). They loved the slow pace of life, the peace and quiet, the abundance of nature, the friendly domestic pets and farm animals, the absence of electronics, the magic of wood fires and candlelight, waking with the dawn and staying up late to go for walks, and eating truly local meat. We loved watching them play all day in the open air, growing and learning, and coming in at bedtime thoroughly filthy! We only travelled about 20 miles from home but it was like a different world and we are very grateful to Marcus and Lucy, who went above and beyond at every step, for such a fantastic holiday.

We had a brilliant stay! Lucy and Marcus were so welcoming, the farm was beautiful (in spite of the cold weather) and the tent was luxury compared to previous camping trips. The kids made loads of friends and loved charging around checking the coops for eggs and feeding the lambs. This was our first Featherdown Farm holiday and if this farm is anything to go by we'll definitely be booking another.
